"Friends to lovers" can be an interesting dilemma for the men involved, but make it "friends to Dominant and submissive", and you've got a whole new set of issues to deal with. Losing the friendship any would-be lovers have had, especially if it's been sixteen years, is a huge risk. And one thing most humans have in common is a lack of willing to take a risk with their heart. Interestingly, for Logan and Ryan it is an outside trigger, a third man who becomes involved with them, who ends up being the catalyst for change. He also makes this one of the hottest BDSM ménages I have read in a while.

In this story, Logan and Ryan are conflicted. Well, Logan more than Ryan, because he's been aware he loves Ryan and wants him as his Dom for years. Ryan is oblivious, but boy, does he catch on quickly once he sees what's going on with Logan. It all surfaces in a night planned as a fun birthday present for Ryan, and the three men involved, being men, don’t really talk a lot. It's all about the hot action for them, and they pretty much jump right into it. Any discussions cover the bare minimum, but that's it.

Problem is, once the hot night is over, things fall apart. Not having any idea of how to deal with what happened, and not believing it can be permanent, Logan runs and hides. He believes his heart will never recover, nor will a friendship he values above all else. Ryan, being the consummate Dom, just wants to hunt him down, tie him to his bed, and show him what’s what. And Cassidy? Once again he proves to be the perfect mediator and just the thing these two will need if they want to stand a chance at a long-term relationship.

If you like books with more action in the bedroom than complicated plotlines, if two men being dominated by a hot guy and loving it sounds interesting to you, and if you're looking for a fun, hot read, with some definitely kinky sex, then you will probably like this short story.
