Book Review

I fell so hard for Artie in Parker's first book of his series 'Four of Clubs'. There's just something so amazing about Artie, and I'm not sure if it's his overwhelming loneliness, his desperate need for normalcy, or his deep vulnerability. Whatever it is, Ben felt it too, which probably explains why Ben jumped in front of the soul sucking demon and saved Artie's life.

Now, after two months, Ben has been in the hospital with machines keeping him alive, and the decision to disconnect has been made. Luckily for Artie he has friends who love him, and one, a powerful witch, is able to save Ben. When Artie discovers he can touch Ben without repercussions, well, that brings the whole love story to a higher level. And, no, I’m not telling you how it works - that’s a spoiler!

Oh Parker, I loved this installment. I so want both Artie and Ben to get their happy ever afters, and they will, once Ben rescues Artie from the demons who stole him. By the way, Mr. Williams, I was shocked about Duke's secret. Way to keep me guessing!
