Book Blurb

Dylan Hughes owns a small bakery. He's doing what he loves and business is good, but he's lonely. After a bad relationship, he's been keeping to himself, and things are worse during the Christmas season. Then there is his unrequited crush on Aaron Tyler.

Aaron is a successful event planner. He and Dylan met more than two years earlier and, after tasting Dylan's baking, Aaron proposed a collaboration. They've worked together ever since. Not willing to risk their friendship, Dylan has kept his feelings under wraps.

But a secret admirer begins to send Dylan thoughtful gifts twelve days before Christmas. The cute, clever gifts keep on coming and he's flattered, but they couldn't have come at a worse time. Aaron has finally asked him out.

What happens when the secret admirer’s identity is revealed on Christmas Day? Will Dylan's blossoming relationship with Aaron survive?

Book Review

A secret admirer who sends him a gift on each of the twelve days before Christmas is not something Dylan expected. He owns a small bakery that runs well, but he works a lot and is lonely. And just when Dylan’s secret crush, Aaron the event planner, finally asks him out, someone else begins to send very thoughtful, beautiful gifts. What is Dylan going to do?

While I figured out the secret admirer’s identity pretty quickly, it was still fun to watch Dylan be surprised and delighted with each newly received item and accompanying note. But as time passes, he begins to realize he has a problem: his dates with Aaron are getting better and better. So what about the thoughtful secret admirer?

If you like sweet romances with a touch of holiday spirit, if you think that two men who believe they can’t be more than friends deserve more, and if you’re looking for an uncomplicated, entertaining read, then you might like this short story.
