Book Blurb

Lewis, Alpha master of the Wasp Lake wolf pack, knows that finding his mate should be a joyous event. But former army ranger Jacobi isn't an Omega. Or even a wolf. He's a grizzly bear shifter, and Alpha to the bone.

Falling for an outsider is risky, especially given Lewis's secret. He yearns to be an Omega, not an Alpha, and has never met anyone willing to accept the man he really is behind the Packmaster's mantle. As for Jacobi, it's been a long time since he's been loved so well that it made him want to be a better man.

The pair try loving in secret -- for a while -- but know that's not going to be enough to satisfy them forever. When Jacobi adopts an orphaned lynx cub and Lewis becomes the toddler's second father, they realize something has to be done. But what?

Nature is red in tooth and claw -- but sometimes true love really does save the day.

Book Review

I am beyond thrilled that Willa Okati is continuing her 'Omega Wolves' series. I have adored each of the previous installments and dearly hope the author continues. The alpha, omega, and mpreg trope is one I honestly love for many different reasons. The fact that this series focuses more on the emotional aspect between the couples is a huge plus in my book. I also get fun pregnant omegas and pups!

I was really hoping the author would return to the Wasp Lake Pack and its alpha packmaster, Lewis. I had a brief glimpse of Lewis and his wily matchmaking skills during Zachariah and Ivoire's story, and I had a sneaky suspicion there was a lot more to Lewis than met the eye. I was thrilled to see that I was right and the author gave me one heck of a story.

Lewis may be the alpha packmaster but he yearns to be an omega, to love, care, and nurture that special one in his life. "But for a Packmaster to crave only the touch of an Alpha’s hand? To fall asleep restless as an ant hill, itching for the roughness of command, the peace of surrender; to dream about being dominated and to wake up hard? To wish - sometimes - often-times - that he’d been born an Omega instead? No way in hell would that be allowed."

Jacobi is a bear shifter and former soldier who saw way too much overseas and doesn't like to see anyone, or anything, suffering. He rescued Lewis from a bear trap and, well, they had an intense moment that they both knew couldn't go any further. No matter how much they both wanted it to. When Lewis rescues an orphaned baby lynx shifter he takes it to Jacobi knowing the man will care for it. Holding the kitten and feeding him makes Lewis yearn even more for what he can't have.

Their secret time spent together can't last long when Jacobi's PTSD makes an appearance. Two alphas, regardless that they both yearn to be omegas sometimes, are still strong, dominant men, and words are said that can't be taken back. What will happen now? What will happen if Lewis's pack finds out he's taken an alpha as a lover?

“I think I want us to be who we are,” Jacobi said, sweeping his palm in light circles over Lewis’s back. They were still mostly clothed, yet he felt utterly bare, and no longer even a little bit hesitant. “The Alpha body. The Omega heart. Just ourselves.”

Wow! So much better than I even anticipated. Willa, you outdid yourself on this story. Please, please, please tell me you have more characters in your head? I've fallen in love with this series and I can't wait for more.
