Book Review

“The perfect wedding” is different for everyone. Tony’s sister in this story is the perfect Bridezilla, and she is driving Tony nuts. Thankfully Tony’s lover, Josh, is there to support him, and the madness becomes easier to take. It also serves to help Tony realize a few things about is and Josh’s relationship.

Tony is shy, doesn’t like having so many people around him, and the only reason he is sticking with his appointed post of bride’s attendant is because he loves his sister a lot. He isn’t very good at dealing with disasters, always fearing he will fail, but he does know one thing for sure: as long as he has Josh by his side he will survive the wedding madness. And as things go from bad to worse, Tony also realizes a few things about him and Josh.

Josh is the perfect partner for Toby, and not just because they love each other. Josh is perfectly calm, cool, and collected at all times. And the best part? He loves Tony just the way he is, and doesn’t try to “make” him behave differently or be anyone else. And the secret plan he is hatching made me smile.

If you like stories where chaos brings out the best and the worst in people, if you enjoy reading about someone else’s wedding panic and disasters, and if you’re looking for a fun read about a guy and “his” tiara, then you will probably like this short story.
