Book Review

This story slammed my psyche and heart right off the bat. Then, there is such a gentle recovery and mending as to have me loving all three main characters. So I’m first dropped to the mat and then lifted onto a cloud. I really liked that. Oh, and this naturally all happens in Loving, Kansas. I checked, there are no cities or towns in the US named ‘Loving’ but why not?

Kyra Hansen is a survivor. Abandoned, subjugated and beaten up, she bops her deceased Master’s brother on his head and scurries away to save her skin. While she is walking through a night tornado scenario, two rather special guys rescue her. She now has the chance to recover and soar. I loved her!

Carter Jackson is the Master and he certainly is. I cannot say for certain if he is practicing a Midwest version of domination, but he knows what he wants and he is definitely the one in control. He deftly loves and punishes as he practices his relationship craft…a most curious, fascinating, and sexually impressive guy. I think I might be a Dominant, so Carter and I would go toe to toe. That would be extremely delightful or possibly devastating!

Finn Miller is Carter’s slave affectionately called ‘pup’. He is a major darling and another hot dude. This trio was exciting and heart-rendering in their differences and similarities. I prayed to any angelic presence I could think of that they would become a loving trio. 

I would take the time and effort to plop my butt in Loving, Kansas and follow these three through their remarkable recovery and enlightenment. Do check out this good read!
