The editor is always right... Katia Lane, a down on her luck writer, finds this out the hard way. When she submits an erotic tale to Daring Desires Publishing, one head strong woman meets another as an author/editor war ensues. There's no room for a diva in the publishing industry...and Sylvia L. Avers means to demonstrate this to the fledging writer. When you submit a manuscript to Daring Desires, you submit more than a submit yourself.

As a BDSM conference nears, both women prepare to face off. Which one is going to be on top?

Book Review

A young, inexperienced writer meets an incredibly accomplished editor. From a different angle, an unaware sub is enveloped by a totally in-control domme leading up to a “Submission”. There are so many unexpected and amazingly funny moments in this story along with an interesting education. It was wonderful.

Katia Lane is confident she is an up and coming writer. She has been published, but her sequel has not been accepted as sales for her first book didn’t meet expectations. Rats! Katia, later known as Kitty Kat, is such a classic new writer caught up in all the gut-wrenching yet hysterical situations that a beginning writer can find herself in is nevertheless a surprising and spunky character. Marvelous.

Sylvia L. Avers is an established editor. She is also a regular guest speaker for the “Living the Style” conference. She is extraordinary as an editor and an established domme. Sylvia gets what she wants, easily dominates both men and women, but prefers the added dimension and subtleties of a female sub. When Sylvia and Kitty Kat mix it up, all kinds of flabbergasting situations unfold. I was tickled pink and on occasion laughing my head off.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the angles including some tongue in cheek situations that developed throughout the story. Whether you are of the Sylvia persuasion, Katia configuration, or an amused interested bystander, you will hopefully savor this story as much as I did.
