Book Review

The Law of the Jungle, in this case, refers to Blake's habit of hunting for his conquests in the "jungle" of New York City. And as much as henry, the farm boy from Nebraska, wants to experience everything the big city has to offer, as much does he also feel hunted. Both men have to learn to take into account their differences if this is to be more than a one-night stand.

Blake knows what he wants, and it's not another gold digger. Henry is just what he's looking for, genuine and innocent, and very willing to learn. While Blake seems to be a bit of a hothead who reacts badly when he doesn't get what he wants, he shows great patience once he understands Henry isn't playing games.

Henry doesn't know what hit him when he realizes Blake is interested in him. He is totally out of his depth, but he does know what he wants and has the courage to let Blake know. Henry is also very willing to learn, once he knows that his teacher understands how inexperienced he is.

The result of these two getting together is a very hot encounter in a luxurious penthouse. If' you like short, sexy reads, and if you're looking for some light entertainment, you will probably enjoy this short story.
