They know they can handle a crisis, but what about everyday life?
After surviving through a massive earthquake, Anders and Ujaruk know they can handle a crisis, but what about everyday life? Ujaruk moved in to help Anders while his leg healed, now that the cast is off, what happens next? Families, holidays and the first time.
NOTE: This book is a sequel to Anders & Ujaruk (Storming Love Earthquake 4).
This short extra from Caraway Carter picks up two months after the end of 'Anders & Ujaruk (Storming Love Earthquake 4). Anders came home from the hospital with a cast on his leg. Since Ujaruk's apartment collapsed in the earthquake, he moved into Anders’s place and has proceeded to take complete care of him. What will happen when the cast comes off?
Anders’s “technicality” of never again falling for a coworker can be put on hold while he's at home recuperating. I mean, technically they aren't coworkers if they're not working together. Right? But Anders is worried about when he goes back to work, plus all his insecurities of not being enough to keep Ujaruk. Personally, I thought it was way too much time worrying. When you get the opportunity to have someone in your life that you mesh that well with, and you can live together without murdering each other… well, then, that's all that matters. Of course being men, one, the other, or both of them would figure out a way to screw it up. My money was on Anders.
This was an interesting and somewhat realistic look at life and family. Anders and Ujaruk had the insta-lust, insta-love, and even though they've been getting along well living together, there's so much more to a new relationship. Meeting family, dealing with one person being the caregiver while the other feels useless, and learning how to navigate each others insecurities and fears. It was nice to see how Anders and Ujaruk ended up.
