Book Blurb

Doctor Jacob Davison has outgrown the hookups of his younger days and wants to settle down. When he’s abandoned by the side of the road, a leather-clad stranger stops and offers him a ride. Chance Renton is different from anyone Jay’s ever met. He’s caring and helpful, yet cynical and world-weary.

From the first moment of their shared motorcycle ride, an attraction begins to simmer between them. Between Jay’s ex-boyfriend showing up and the misconceptions they have about each other, does this relationship have a chance?

Book Review

A single decision can change everything. For Jay, this means putting aside his natural caution and placing his trust in the hands of a stranger. Though he has no way of knowing it at the time, this one impulsive act will alter the course of his future.

Perhaps because he’s a doctor, Jay rarely takes risks. He’s also ready to settle down, if only he could find the right guy. Abandoned at the side of the road one evening after a row with his boyfriend, Jay is contemplating the long walk home when a leather-clad figure roars up on a motorbike and offers him a ride. Jay’s instinct is to refuse; the blue-eyed biker might be a murderer. Instead, much to his own surprise, he opts to take his chances and accepts.

Admittedly, Chance doesn’t seem like a maniac. Beneath the cynical outlook, he’s kind and considerate, not to mention devilishly handsome. Jay can’t deny the immediate affinity he feels towards this man, and the powerful attraction that sparks between the two as the evening progresses is more than either of them is able to withstand. However, with Jay’s ex intent on causing trouble, it could be that their relationship is doomed before it has even begun.

Reading this rather put me in mind of how it might be to hitch a ride on Chance’s motorbike: fast paced, exciting, and impossible not to see through to the end. So if you’re looking for a story packed with action, both in and out of the bedroom, I highly recommend picking this up.
