"Tag. You're it."

The words echoed through Chade's body like the ringing of a warning bell. Little did he know he'd be drawn into a game of cat and mouse -- or in his case, werewolf and Fae. The gorgeous elf teased and tempted him... and eluded him for days. It wasn't until a dark and snowy night, when Chade was on the verge of giving up, when he found Evander and the true meaning of surrender.

Book Review

As this story shows, a game of supernatural tag can be very entertaining – not to mention hot. The rules are entirely unclear at the beginning, and, at first, I was a confused as Chad, the werewolf who tells this story. Curiosity wins out though, both for Chad and for me, and the result is pretty incendiary.

Chad is out for some fun in a mixed-species bar when he first sees a gorgeous Fae and ends up “tagged” by him. A few days later he encounters the guy again, and now Chad’s hunting instinct is well and truly engaged. He doesn’t have much to go on, other than piercing blue eyes and blond hair, but he is determined to find the Fae who tagged him. What follows is an exciting chase, stubborn persistence, and a very hot ending.

If you like short stories with a supernatural touch, if a bit of mystery enhances your reading enjoyment, and if you’re looking for a brief read that is as hot as it is fun, then you might like this short story.
