Book Review

What happens when the sub wants to be in control, become the Dom for one night? Not a topic I have often encountered, but a fascinating question. Usually, it is the Dom who mentions he was a sub for training purposes, sometime in the past. The same is true for Grey in this story, but Craig, his sub and lover, takes it a step further. What ensues is a learning experience for both, as well as one of the hottest scenes Grey has ever experienced.

Grey undergoes a fascinating process within these comparatively few pages. Initially, he is all blustery Dom, determined to punish Craig for making a change to the club without asking him, the owner, for permission. He does do some additional checking of what the effect of Craig’s change is, and is surprised to find out everyone welcomes it. With his control shaken, he confronts Craig and proceeds to put him into subspace, figuring the truth will come out once Craig is relaxed. And when it does? No one is more shocked than Grey!

In a nice twist of their usual roles, Craig proceeds to dominate Grey and what follows is extremely hot, as well as very revealing. It shows how well these two men fit together, and how much they love each other.

If you like stories that play with traditional BDSM rules and assumptions, if you enjoy reading about men who are open to experimentation to ensure their relationship stays on track, and if you’re looking for a hot, sweet read, then you will probably enjoy this short story.
