As far as I am concerned, ‘Stuck’ is a strange title for a Christmas book, and the description was not much more detailed, so I was definitely curious to find out what disaster befalls Jack. I had no idea how apt the title is until I started reading – and could not believe what the poor guy had to go through!

At the same time as feeling sorry for Jack, I had to – eventually – grin because the situation was  about as ridiculous as it was scary. Jack’s predicament gives Brady and Jack a lot to deal with, and added to their different attitudes around spending Christmas in the comfort of their penthouse (Jack’s idea) and “roughing it” in Brady’s grandfather’s cabin (Brady’s wish), I am not sure they’d make it as a couple. Except – there is love and there are Christmassy feelings (after the initial shock), and Jack has a plan…

If you like your Christmas stories with a touch of shock and suspense, if you think that two men with somewhat different ideas about luxury should be able to make a relationship work anyway, and if you’re looking for a read that is initially scary only to turn funny and end up very hot, then you will probably like this short story.
