Book Blurb

Ever since his last boyfriend labeled him as predictable and boring, Shane has gone out of his way to demonstrate that he’s not. He's moved to Spain, taken a job as an English teacher and decided that partying all night long is going to be his thing. Fun first is his new motto, regardless of what his heart has to say about it after meeting Alejandro.

After leaving his bed without even a goodbye, Alejandro thought he’d never see the sexy American again, so when he reappears in his life he can hardly believe his luck. With a chemistry between them that is off the charts, he wants something more than just a night of passion.

Shane insists he just wants to party but Alejandro is determined to make him see that, together, they can have much more than just fun.

Book Review

Sometimes we think we know what we want, only to find that, once we have it, it isn’t what we needed at all. Shane is in this situation when he runs into Alejandro; they have an amazing time together but Shane comes close to ruining it because he is still hung up on this idea of wanting to party, not tying himself to one man, and generally "having fun". Alejandro, a Spaniard Shane meets in Madrid, is more than ready to begin a serious relationship with Shane, but can’t seem to catch up with him.

Shane is a young American labeled "boring" by his last boyfriend. He goes against his very nature to prove that he is anything but predictable. And he isn’t! He moves to Spain to teach English, makes many new friends, and runs into the man of his dreams. As fast as they meet, he runs away, scared about the depth of his feelings, but telling himself he cannot tie himself to one man. Unfortunately, he overlooks the fact that all this running and "partying" is making him horribly unhappy.

Alejandro is a great guy, a good Dom, and he hates having to watch Shane trying to go from man to man in the name of "fun". He has put his wild days behind him and longs for more with Shane. He does his best to show Shane there is more to life than partying, but he has a hard time holding back. As passionate as he clearly is, I admired him for how well he succeeded.

If you like stories with men who stubbornly believe whatever course of action they decided under very different circumstances has to be completed – at any cost, if you enjoy reading about a man getting to know himself and what he really needs – and struggling every inch of the way, and if you enjoy some hot kinkiness once they do figure it all out, then you will probably like this short novella.
