Book Blurb

Trey is a natural submissive, but no one wants to take on a blind man. When Trey and Lucien hit it off, it could be the answer to Trey’s prayers.

When Lucien meets his favorite author at a book signing, he's surprised to discover the man is not only blind, but much younger than he’d expected. He’s even more surprised to discover that Trey shares a passion of his—BDSM.

Trey loves his life as a horror mystery writer, but it is a lonely one. Immediately drawn to Lucien, he’s surprised and intrigued when Lucien ferrets out his interests in certain aspects of BDSM right from the start.

Is Lucien exactly who Trey’s been waiting for, or is it too good to be true?

Book Review

Stories about beginning D/s relationships always fascinate me, and with one of the men a writer and blind, I was doubly interested in “Size Matters” and how things might work for Trey, a successful writer of horror short stories and novels. Lucien owns a gym and is clearly a top, but he’ll have to learn about and adapt to a few of Trey’s quirks – and not just due to the man’s lack of sight. From the blurb I could see this might be fun, and was delighted to discover I was right.

Trey is a writer, he is blind, and is sort of curious about BDSM. Not an easy scene to get into for him, because the trust required for a sighted man to hand over control to another may be huge, but for the same thing to happen for someone who cannot see? It is way more difficult. I loved how Trey let Lucien know what he needed every step of the way. The need for touching, but also the need for Lucien to talk to Trey, to let him know where he is located and what he is about to do.

Lucien starts as Trey’s fan, but when he meets him at a book signing, Lucien quickly becomes curious. He perseveres, to let Trey know he is really interested, but lets Trey be careful as well. Lucien was amazingly gentle when needed, and open to learning about Trey and his needs. He can also be very forceful in bed, but never too much for the still growing level of trust between them. He quickly figures out what Trey wants and needs, like any good Dom would, and proceeds to give him that and more. Very hot!

If you like stories about writers and some of their quirks, if you prefer your BDSM on the softer side, and if you’re looking for a short, fun read that is as hot as it is sweet, then you will probably like this short story.
