Book Blurb

All hell has broken loose. A psychopathic vampire, Harlan Yates, has waged war on mortals and vampires alike, and the band Scorned Gods is caught in the middle. With help from an Abaddon ally, Jason and his band mates will have to act quickly to stop the enemy. But Harlan Yates has one advantage that no one can erase: his ability to find the escaped mortal, Daniel. Despite finding safety with the band, Daniel is the unwilling beacon that can bring destruction upon them all.

Book Review

The battle between vampires and demons that began in the previous two stories of this series is heating up. The evil Harlan is on the warpath and is ready to make alliances with whoever needed to exact revenge on those who got in his path. Chief among them is the rock band Scorned Gods, as well as some of their friends.

Nick, a psychic vampire, and Daniel, the human man he loves, are hiding with the other band members, trying to figure out how to defeat Harlan so they can return to doing their gigs. But not only has Harlan figured out a way to get to them, the higher-ups are becoming involved as well… never a good thing, especially when dealing with the rulers of Hell.

Daniel is the lynchpin to everything, and it doesn’t make things easier for him and Nick to finally figure out that they belong together. But what Daniel has to do if he wants to save himself and the others is pretty permanent, and neither Daniel nor Nick are sure they want to go there. It’s quite the tough decision, but the alternative – doing nothing – may just be worse.

If you like paranormal action/adventures starring rock bands, various vampires, and a demon or two, if hellish warfare is your thing, and if you’re looking for a read with power grabs, a stormy love story, and a somewhat scary paranormal world, then you might like this short story.
