Trust is essential in any partnership, but it becomes more important when BDSM is involved. In the case of this story Master Simeon, who enjoys being serviced, and sub Derek, who loves serving and taking care of his Master, are a perfect match, but they didn't figure it out when they first met. With hindsight, they now both realize what was missing, and set out to fix things.

As always, it was interesting to see how Simeon had to feel his way just as much as his sub. He isn't a mind reader, but he does have his ways to help him figure out what Derek needs. And what I really liked abut him was how he reacts immediately when he sees a problem, or something he'd like to change. He admits his biggest mistake before was not setting any rules - which meant Derek didn't feel wanted. This time, Simeon watches for signs of need more carefully, and it allows him to tailor the rule to both f their needs. It was beautiful to see it all come together.

If you like men with simple kinks, if you enjoy reading about relationships that need a second chance to really work, and if you're looking for a sweet read with lots of loving and some subtle heat, then you will probably like this short story
