Book Review

I fell in love with the world Willa Okati created in 'Omega Wolves' after reading 'Lost and Found', book one in the series. This world has shifters, and they can be violent, aggressive bast*ards, but these books focus more on the alpha and omega relationship. On the love that can happen, the kindness and gentleness that the alphas treat their omegas with. It was refreshing and sweet, to be honest, plus I got mpregs and babies.

Zachariah lives on the very edge of the Wasp Lake pack's land. He wants nothing to do with the pack or any wolves. He's still grieving the loss of his mate and pup, and Zachariah is quite happy all by himself. When he finds a pregnant, unmated omega hiding in his overgrown peppermint patch, he's just a little disconcerted.

Ivoire is the packmaster's cousin and he's travelled to Wasp Lake to take refuge with his cousin. Unfortunately, the packmaster is out of town dealing with a dispute, and the pack deputies - total yahoos each of them - who came to pick him up, got a little too overly frisky due to the pregnancy pheromones. Sigh. When Ivoire manages to evade them and finds Zachariah, Ivoire claims sanctuary which no alpha can deny to an omega. Zachariah is forced to let him stay until the packmaster returns home.

Zachariah needed this - yes, and Ivoire needed it, too. The comfort of another’s touch. Kindness. A reminder that they weren’t alone after all, at least not now.

I fell completely for Ivoire. He's sweet, gentle, kind, compassionate, funny, and doesn't take crap from anyone. He knows that giving Zachariah his heart could end in disaster, but it's in Ivoire's nature to love and nurture. How could Zachariah possibly hold out against that? Well, and the sneaky matchmaking of the packmaster made it all a done deal.

I adored this second book in the series. Watching these two lonely men fall in love was wondrous and made my heart happy. Thank you, again, Willa!
