Detective Andreas Ruffner is no fool—he’s found a man who loves him, puts up with him, and has stuck with him through hell and back, and it’s time to put a ring on it. Darren Corliss is the love of his life, and he wants the whole world to know it.

Now the fun part—the wedding!

Well, after the not-so-fun part of planning the wedding in between dealing with overbearing and impossible-to-please family members. With future mothers-in-law driving them both up a wall, the guest list growing out of control, and the wedding getting ever more complicated, Darren and Andreas have to wonder if they’re in over their heads.

But they’re going to make it to the altar if it kills them . . . and at this rate, it just might.

Book Review

The ‘Bad Behavior’ series is one of the most exciting and thrilling ones I have read in quite a while. The mystery, suspense, intrigue, action, adventure, love, and many injuries both characters racked up will go down as some of the most fun I’ve had in a while. Imagine my surprise and sheer glee, to realize the authors were going to give me a story just revolving around Darren and Andreas… getting married. I wasn’t sure my heart could take it - tongue in cheek.

A huge thank you to the authors for including the proposal. I know, I know, why wouldn’t they? But the guys have just gotten back from two weeks in a tropical paradise for a vacation they both desperately needed. It could have happened there - just saying.

“So. I have to say, this proposal isn’t going exactly the way I pictured it.”
I chuckled. “Are you kidding me? This is so us, I don’t think it could have gone any other way.” I held out my hand. “Give me that.”
It was slender but felt heavy, and as I turned it over in my hands, I caught sight of an engraving on the inside. I held the ring up to the light. I know, it read. I gaped at Andreas. “You . . . you Han Solo-ed my wedding ring?”

I knew plenty about Darren’s mom and stepdad and, of course, I’ve met Andreas’s kids, ex-wife, and ex-girlfriend, but I knew next to nothing about Andreas’s parents. All I can say is his mother is not even remotely close to as wonderful as Darren’s mom. I didn’t like her immediately and I liked her even less as time went on. Most of Darren and Andreas’s stress comes from planning a wedding Andreas’s mother would approve of, and then dealing with the b*tch when she comes for the engagement party. Luckily, they had Darren’s parents and the kids supporting their decisions.

“Our job brought with it a certain level of anxiety, and I accepted that. What I struggled to accept was feeling the same way about my wedding as I did about chasing down a bloodthirsty murderer before he killed someone else.”

I loved the story and especially the ending! Absolutely perfect for these two men I’ve grown to care quite a bit about. I really hope this isn’t the end of the series, but if it is, then the authors sure took it out in style. A wonderful addition to the series!
