Book Blurb

Creed has been beating himself up for the hateful way he reacted to Bronx after an intoxicated kiss. However, it stirred something in him that should be brought to light. Creed must visit the raceway and stake his claim on not only the winnings but on the man he's come to desire.

Bronx has been keeping his love a secret for three long years. The slip up kiss bears the same resemblance to the incident that caused him to lose his old best friend in New York. Will facing each other be a simple delivery of apologies or will they finally admit and succumb to their desires?

Book Review

Denial is a very strong force and some people can keep it up for years especially in an environment where fast cars and fast women are the norm. Such is the case with Creed, who denies that he's interested in more than a kiss once it happened but is too scared to admit it, and Bronx, who doesn’t deny he's extremely attracted to his best friend, but stops himself from acting on the need to get closer. He only manages up to a point, hence , the fateful kiss when he finally slips up.

Creed reacted badly to the kiss, chewing Bronx out and chasing him away. Now, a month later, he misses his best friend and racing buddy and regrets his actions, but has no clue how to fix it. Plus, he's afraid his apology will be rejected, and then what will he do? Several people have ideas and nudge him toward doing it, but in the end, it's him who will have to face the music. And when he does?

Bronx is devastated that he slipped up. He's lost his previous best friend like this, and he hates to think Creed is lost to him forever. And when Creed comes up to him after the long silence, he doesn't want to let himself hope for too much. Luckily, his pessimism and fears are totally unfounded.

If you like stories set against the background of cars and racing, if you enjoy reading about men who are trying to hide from their feelings, and if you're looking for a light, fun read with some hot first-time man-on-man action, then you will probably like this story.
