Making a deal with the Devil is a risky business, and even though the benefits may seem to outweigh the consequences (i.e., losing your soul), once time for payment arrives, people usually start to regret their choices. By then of course, it is much too late. In this story, Aaron isn’t even the one to have made a short-sighted agreement, it is his brother, Andy, who is the culprit. To make matters worse, Andy isn’t there when the demon comes to collect, so he holds Aaron responsible instead. What a mess!

Aaron has no idea what his twin has gotten him into, but the demon at his door is darned hot. "Horned wet dream", the description of the demon from the blurb, is the best way to describe Aaron’s thoughts at that point. While there is an initial shock, it becomes very clear pretty much immediately that the form of payment isn't going to be a problem for Aaron.

Roan has some leeway in how exactly he collects his master’s debts, and Aaron is too attractive to resist making a change to the original terms. One thing leads to another, and before Roan knows it, he is in way deeper than he expected. All that remains to figure out is how to convince Aaron’s brother never to make such a stupid mistake again - and what exactly Roan’s feelings are for Aaron.

If you like hot demons who are way nicer than usually advertised, if you think a human and a demon deserve happiness, and if you enjoy reading cover-to-cover sex (well, pretty close), then you will probably like this short story. I'm still smiling.
