Mike and Jessy, from the Personal Best series, are back just in time for the Olympics. With it being an Olympic year, all of Mike's sponsors want a piece of the gold-medalist for their ad campaigns, but Mike just wants to train. He's only got a few weeks left before he and Jessy are off to London. Can Jessy find time for all they have to do, and make sure they make time for each other, too?
Short, sexy, and with just enough kink to remind me how these guys like to play, this sixth Mike and Jesse stories is as hot as the others. Athletes who become their coach's lover may not be everyone's thing, but there are enough examples in real life to prove it is possible and sometimes even very productive. Reading about these two and their fight for some alone time amongst all the other demands placed on them was certainly fun.
Mike is as growly and bratty as ever, but making commercials for the sponsors just isn’t his thing. Can't say I blame him! All he wants to do is train for the Olympics, and even though this is the last film he has to make before his three-week training break, he resents every second of it.
Luckily Jesse, his coach and lover, knows exactly what to do to help Mike focus. Once the commercial is done, he can really let loose. Jesse gets as much out of it as Mike, and it was great to see these two from the Personal best series of books prepare for yet another Olympic competition.
If you like your stories with a bit of kink, if you enjoy reading about athletes and their coaches who get up to more than just training, and if you enjoyed the other books in the series, you are bound to like this one.
