Book Blurb

Zachary Bradford has spent his whole life running from the future he’s seen, not wanting to accept it. He definitely doesn’t want anything to do with Titus Lucius, the man his parents have arranged for him to marry, and who he’s secretly loved for years.

Titus has been tasked with finding the new Royal Seer. A search that leads him to his betrothed, Zachary. He must make Zachary accept both their new relationship, and the future he’s running from. He doesn’t have an easy time of it, as Zachary is determined to keep him at arm’s length, and hide from the truth of his own destiny.

The final battle for the balance of both our world and the Nether is finally at hand, and everything hinges on Zachary’s ability to see the future. He must accept fate, even if that means losing the one person he loves above all.

Book Review

I’m so happy the author wrote Zachary’s story. I couldn’t imagine not having it, but so many things were wrapped up at the end of the previous novella, I was concerned that might be it. I’m happy to say there’s at least one more fight to keep the evil out of the Nether and gone for good. This is a series I have enjoyed for its adventures, magic, betrayals, Alderon, sexy men, and sweet romances.

Zachary’s cousins and their partners are all fairly certain that Zachary is the next Royal Seer, but Zachary doesn’t want that job. He also doesn’t want Titus but not for the reason Titus believes. A decade ago, when Zachary and Titus were realizing their friendship was more than that, Zachary had a vision of the future. A future he could never allow to happen so he has pushed Titus away for all of these years.

Titus has been given the job, by the king, to locate the next Royal Seer as that was Queen Rebecca’s role, and it’s an important function that needs to be filled. Imagine Titus’s surprise when he discovers Zachary holds the strongest gift of sight and is the Royal Seer. Not that Zachary makes any of this easy. In fact, Zachary even makes it difficult for the seers who have gone before him, insisting that he will not accept the Royal Seer position. It makes no difference to Zachary, when they explain that the reason he can’t see anything past that horrible moment in time is because Zachary’s power is so strong and when he had that vision at such a young age, his mind simply stopped the future past that point.

‘Power of Sight’ was so much more exciting than I thought it would be. I had no clue where the author was taking me and I absolutely love it when that’s the case. The only thing that bothered me was even though Zachary knows someone is walking beside him after that fateful day, he just refuses to have hope and his moping got a little tiresome near the end. Not that I can blame him. Losing the love of your life is the most devastating thing imaginable, but in my opinion, nobody had lost anything, or anyone yet, so having hope and a positive outlook couldn’t hurt.

An excellent ending and not so far-fetched that I found it hard to believe. Zachary and Titus now have time to live the rest of their lives together, however long that may be. This is definitely my favorite of the series and I’m assuming this is the final book. I greatly enjoyed each of these installments, each of the couples, and the worldbuilding was wonderful!
