Werewolves Beck and Kayne are just looking for a place to hole up for a night or two when they enter a seemingly abandoned house in the French Quarter of New Orleans. They get more than they bargain for when they enter the bedroom, though. What on earth are they going to do with a vampire?
Short, hot, and so funny it made me laugh, this is a story of two outcast werewolves and one lonely were-possum, erm, I mean vampire. I loved Kayne and Beck's jokes about the seemingly dead man they find in and abandoned house. Their joking became even funnier when it turns out the guy isn’t a were-possum at all, but a thirsty vampire called Frank. And he heard everything! Thank God he has a sense of humor. The proposal he has for them is tempting and very simple. He will feed them (i.e., pay for their groceries), if they feed him.
If you like paranormal stories that make you laugh, if you enjoy an encounter between werewolves and vampires that isn’t about fighting, well, not war-like fighting, and if you’re looking for a fun, hot story that will make you smile, give this one a try.
