Book Review

Gary and Miles have been friends for a while, dorm room mates even, but while Gary has been out for years, Miles has never said anything. When Miles comes to London for a rugby game and visits Gary in the pub he works afterward, it’s clear things have changed.

Gary is impressed with the change in Miles’s physical appearance and self-confidence, and he loves the kilt. But when things go further after Gary offers his room for Miles to stay overnight, there is a lot less certainty. Miles is clearly curious about having sex with a man, and Gary needs to figure out if he can do it without harming himself by putting too much meaning into what they do.

If you like stories about men trying to decide if they are straight or bisexual, if two men meeting up after a few years only to find themselves attracted to the other sound like fun, and if you’re looking for a read that is as short as it is hot, then you might like this short story.
