Simon has to dress in drag for a party and doesn’t have a clue what to wear. When the man in the costume shop helps him select an Indian princess dress, complete with braids, Simon’s unaware that he isn’t a salesman, but another guest looking for a costume, too.

Charles has decided to fulfill a childhood dream and be a cowboy, if only for a night. One look at the handsome Asian man searching through the racks of evening gowns gives Charles an idea, and working quickly, he puts his plan in motion. Now, he’s got an Indian maiden to join him in his fantasy.

But can a desperado capture the princess’s heart? In this classic childhood battle, who will win?

Book Review

Who didn't play cowboys and Indians when you were younger? Or, for that matter, want to be a cowboy? I sure did. This super fun short story from Lynn Lorenz is all about stepping outside your comfort zone and transforming yourself. Charles always wanted to be a cowboy, although flaunting himself in chaps is a new thrill, but Simon never imagined how it would feel to put makeup on and wear a dress.

Simon manages a small, but well known, hotel in the French Quarter for his boss, Francis. Francis is throwing a costume party, Stag or Drag, and each invitation announces which you are to dress as. Simon, of course, gets Drag, while Charles gets Stag. Simon has no clue that the gorgeous guy who picked out the Pocahontas costume for him at the store is going to be in attendance at the party as a guest, no less. It doesn't take Charles long to make his move once he sees Simon at the party. Maybe fifteen minutes to introduce himself, announce his intentions, and he and Simon are on their way to an empty room to fulfill each of their desires.

This is a cute story with a lot of sex and fantasy scenes. Neither Charles nor Simon ever believed in love at first sight, but one magical costume party later and they're both believers. If you want to read something fun with no drama, only sexiness, then this might be the read for you.
