Book Blurb

Cloud Martin is still getting used to being mated to two dragons. The start of his mating season could have gone a little smoother and the attempt on his life was something he could have definitely lived without.

Warriors Deimos and Krakken are still furious about that, and they want blood for what nearly happened to their mate. They're not going to risk another incident as they leave Europa Tower early to take Cloud to his new home, however, and when Cloud asks to be with both of them at the same time, the sex is better than anything they could have ever hoped for.

But Cloud is still living with the attempt on his life hanging over his head. He wants to forget about it, to forgive and move on with his new and better life. That is, if he can convince both his mates to not be consumed by the need for revenge...

Book Review

In this second half of Cloud, Deimos, and Krakken’s story, things are a lot more settled. Cloud has accepted the mating, is getting over the injury he received when someone made an attempt on his life, and the only thing left to deal with, or so he thinks, is his horrible uncle and making sure that Elliot, his ten-year-old cousin is safe and taken care of. But sometimes leaving the past behind is more difficult, especially for enraged dragon warriors, and Cloud has his hands full making sure they focus on each other – not on revenge.

Cloud does not come from wealth. He is an orphan who has tried to make ends meet, for himself and Elliot, but his evil uncle has not mad it easy. So when Cloud goes shopping with Deimos and Krakken and his mates basically tell him to “get what he likes”, he can’t believe it. His first thoughts are for some toys and clothes for Elliot. Then a few clothes for himself. I loved how he brightened when he was able to get as much drawing paper, paints, pens, and other art supplies as he wanted. It’s clear that it will take him some time to get used to the luxury. What he is getting used to really fast is all the hot loving he gets to enjoy with Deimos and Krakken.

Krakken, to some degree, and Deimos are still upset about someone attempting to kill Cloud. The ”internal investigation” at the tower where they stayed has not revealed the guilty party, and Deimos is livid. Despite advice against it - from none other than his half brother who is the president of the New United States - Deimos sets up his own, independent investigation. When the guilty are found the sh*t hits the fan, and Deimos is about to lose it. Even though the president is asking to drop the matter (since the tower owner is a big contributor to his campaign), Deimos is not willing to do so. It’s up to Cloud to salvage the situation.

If you want to know how Cloud, Krakken, and Deimos are doing, if you want to find out who was behind the attempt on Cloud’s life, and if you’re looking for a read that is as hot as it is entertaining, then you might like this novella. I’d suggest you read the previous book first, if not all three, because you’ll need the details about how this world works and how these three men first met to fully enjoy ‘Mate of the Alpha Dragons’.
