Tetsuji Nabeshima is every bit his father's son in terms of attractiveness and determination. Set to graduate at the top of his law school class, qualifying early for--and passing--the New York bar exam, the Japanese transplant's career star is on the rise.
Yet one thing holds him back, the mad crush he's developed for his mentor and boss, Nick Denison, his father's best friend.
Nick and Tetsuji, secondary characters from Beautiful Cocksucker and Beautiful Cocksucker II: Such a Good Boy, quickly come into their own in this short vignette of a story.
Nick is an older defense attorney, Miki's best friend, and has lost a long-term partner during 9/11. He feels his age, but is still attracted to Tetsuji. Manfully fighting his feelings until the very last, he finally gives in to Tetsuji's charms and kisses him. All bets are off after that.
Tetsuji adores Nick first as a mentor and boss, but also as a man. He is hopelessly enamored by the time he is ready to sit his bar exam, but has no hope since Nick keeps calling him "kiddo" and "boy". When Nick suddenly caves, Tetsuji thinks he's in a dream, but the passionate encounter that follows is anything but...
If you like short, hot stories with characters who are made for each other but cannot seem to see it, and if you're looking for a sweet read with lots of sexual tension, you will probably like this much too short story.
