Book Blurb

Years ago, the Wasp Lake pack forced Matthias out after he dared to fall in love with the Packmaster’s Omega son, Bree. Now Matthias has made his fortune on the sea and returned to claim his mate. But the world he left behind isn’t the one he finds.

Bree has become an outcast and been lied to from the start. He’s been told Matthias left because he’d fallen out of love with him. He hasn’t mated with any other wolves or borne them cubs, but the struggle against his Omega nature has taken its toll. He knows he can’t hold out much longer, even if he does have a secret den to hide in when he’s in heat.

Matthias takes shelter from a blizzard in Bree’s bolt-hole just as mating fever consumes the Omega, and the former lovers are reunited just in time for their world to change again -- for keeps.

Book Review

Shame on me for never looking at Willa Okati's backlist. A dear friend introduced me to her stories and I loved her writing and her characters. But when I found out that she'd written a paranormal shifter erotic romance trilogy that also includes mpreg…well, I was over the moon. A lot of people make fun of the mpreg trope, but I love it. I love to see the different and creative ways authors establish their scenarios for what type of shifters can get pregnant, how they carry the young, and most importantly, what will the birthing process be like. I find it fascinating and better yet, I find it fun. Believe me when I say I was really looking forward to 'Lost and Found', book one in the author’s 'Omega Wolves' series.

Matthias has spent many long, lonely years away from the Wasp Lake pack after they kicked him out when he was an orphaned teen. Now he's returned to claim his mate, the omega he's loved all of these years, the packmaster’s son, Bree. Poor timing has Matthias struggling through a blizzard only to find an omega's bolt-hole cabin, and to his surprise, Bree.

Bree's whole life has changed since Matthias left him. His father never returned from a hunting trip, and his brother, the alpha heir, tucked tail and ran from a challenge, leaving Bree all alone. He's had to learn to defend himself and hide during his heat cycles because he'll be darned if he carries pups for anyone in the Wasp Lake pack. Not after the way they've treated him.

If he let himself, he could love Matthias again - love him as if he’d never stopped. And if he lost Matthias a second time, which he would - he didn’t get to keep the things he loved - Bree knew he couldn’t survive that again.

A beautiful but much too short introduction to a shifter world I've already fallen for. Bree made my heart ache with his hidden vulnerability, his inner strength, and his desperate hope for Matthias's love. Matthias was everything I adore in an alpha, but he was gentle and understanding, too. What a fabulous story! Thank you, Willa, you made my day.
