Book Blurb

When Peter is unexpectedly thrust into a BDSM club with a black hankie in his right back pocket, he has no idea that he’s signaling being a hard core sub who is up for anything. Lucky for him, Master Rupert takes one look and falls for the unwitting sub and takes Peter under his wing, in more ways than one.

Can a rescue at a club turn into so much more?

Book Review

The “hankie code” is a great way to communicate, publicly but without words, what a gay man is willing to do or not do. It is also, as this story shows, borderline dangerous if misused by a well-meaning but reckless “friend” who thinks he knows what a newbie wants or needs. Luckily, the unwitting sub in this story is rescued by a great Dom and all ends well for everyone concerned. Actually, that ending in the club is just the beginning of some very hot exploration and experimentation.

Peter has a lot more curiosity than experience, and having a black hankie (meaning he is a sub up for anything) shoved in his back pocket by the “friend” who thought he needed to come out in the real world could have turned into a real disaster. But as Peter gets to know Rupert, and begins to discover the reality of BDSM, he is overwhelmed by how good it all feels. I loved his wide-eyed innocence as he experiences everything Rupert dishes out – clearly always careful not to scare Peter away.

Rupert may look like a badass Dom, but he is actually very gentle with Peter. He must be a good judge of character, because he gives the new sub just enough to make him want more, while taking his please as much as Peter does. He is clearly determined to make Peter his, but he doesn’t just puff up his chest and become possessive, he subtly “convinces” the beginner that he is a god teacher. And I found that not just fun but very hot.

If you’re curious about BDSM and want to see it all through a new sub’s eyes while getting the experienced Dom’s perspective as a bonus, if you like reading about sensual D/s encounters, and if you’re looking for a sweet, hot, and fun read, then you will probably like this short story.
