Book Review

A kilted ghost in the closet, a creepy neighbor, and a mystery only the real estate can solve are the elements that make this story come alive. Jeff has to face that and more as he delves into the past of the house he’s been living in without admitting it is haunted. It takes his four-year-old nephew’s comment to make Jeff realize the noises and other mysterious happenings he’s been observing may be real. Or ghostly. Or…whatever.

Jeff ends up wanting to ask his real estate agent if she knows what could be going on in the house, but instead he finds Nathan guarding the office. Nathan is young, good-looking, and very interested in the story Jeff tells him. I can’t say much more without spoiling the story, so let me assure you it is a great combination of ghostly, creepy, and sexy.

If you like mysteries, if you’re looking for a ghost story that might make your hair stand on end, and if you’re interested in a read that is as sexy as it is full of secrets, then you might like this short story.
