Book Review

Both coaxed into a hetero speed dating event, Tania and Latisha, are instantly drawn to each other. Tania, a voluptuous redhead with a sweet tooth, is an endearing yet outgoing down-to-earth character who approaches the beautiful yet more reserved Latisha. Latisha is drawn to vivacious Tania and their conversation quickly changes from pleasantries to full-on flirtation.

 

After they hook up in a restroom, Latisha pulls away from Tania because she is still reeling from her past relationship with a woman who eventually left her for a man. Latisha fears the same treatment from Tania. You really feel the sorrow and possible regret for Latisha as she pushes Tania away. Latisha and Tania reunite at the exciting ending that holds a bit of surprise for the reader.

 

Irresistible Impulse is an intriguing story and a sweet romance. I’ve never downloaded a “short” story before but it was a great way to pass the time while riding my stationary bicycle.
