An incubus using dark magic to invade people’s dreams, a past lover suddenly turning up with who-knows-what kind of a plan, and seduction as a tool of torture? Definitely a story from the darker side. But with “exchange of power” as the theme, who knows what will happen…

Andres is an interesting character. On the one hand he is an incubus with a very dark power, and someone who likes “torturing” his victims to get what he wants. And he gets paid to do this! On the other hand, he seems to be using this power to enforce contracts and agreements people made, then want to weasel out of… so is he really that bad? I guess it depends on your perspective. And with Julien turning up out of the blue, what I got was exactly that – another and opposite perspective. However, since it was still told from Andres’s point of view, I saw the balance tip through his eyes – deliciously naughty!

If you like supernatural stories with a twist, if two men dealing with their past through magical means is what you’re after, and if you’re looking for a read that is as hot as it is kinky, then you will probably enjoy this short story.
