Book Review

This is a light, fun read, with some very hot male dancers, one of whom used to be a rodeo rider and plays up his cowboy image to his advantage and the customers' enjoyment. Both main characters have a past they aren't proud of, one of them is still in trouble, and the pride they each have about being independent comes very close to ending any possible relationship before it even begins. Add all of this to the fact they are rivals on the job, and the stage is set.

Jay may be in a financially secure place now, but he'll never forget where he came from, or that fame can be very short-lived. The newest guy in the club he dances at is younger and, Jay fears, more attractive than him. Knowing that he cannot be the top dog forever means he will have to fight his attraction to Robbie. Or maybe he just needs to get it out of his system?

Robbie has a bunch of issues all his own, and the last thought in his mind is beating Jay at being the best dancer. But he doesn’t know how to prove this to Jay, and anyway, he isn’t even sure he wants to try. He believes all they need to do is get it out of their system…

If you like stories about hot dancers trying to fight romantic attachments, if you enjoy reading about men struggling with their pasts, and if you’re looking for a fun read with enough story to keep you interested, you may like this short book.
