Book Blurb

Former Marine Howard “Nash” Nashton takes his new job as a bouncer at Big D’s strip club seriously, but when it’s suggested he strut his stuff on stage, he laughs it off. Handling drunken women is much easier than facing stage fright or his crush on Peter, a hot stripper who used to do ballet. When Peter’s biggest fan turns into a stalker, Nash comes to the rescue and sticks close to the dancer. Opposites attract, but underneath they aren’t so different. Passion ignites between the men, but this wasn’t the world Nash planned on entering. Still, Peter won’t give up on his dream of a happy ending with a hot military man.

Book Review

The third volume in this series of light, hot reads about a dance club that caters to straight women on one side of the building, and to gay men on the other, introduces an ex-Marine bouncer and an ex-ballet dancer as its focus couple. The characters from previous books appear briefly as well, and it was good to see they're still going strong

Nash is fresh out of the military and wants to build a life for himself. Security is a natural first step, and he loves being a bouncer. He adores Peter, a dancer, on and off stage but fights the attraction because he believes it is inappropriate. Anyway, it might mess up his plans. Other concerns are soon added to his list, and the only thing he can rely on is his instincts. And they tell him Peter needs protection from his super-fan turned stalker, and never mind the consequences.

Peter has been betrayed by a bad ankle, but even though he won't make it as a professional ballet dancer, he can’t quite leave dancing behind. The description of some of his moves, only doable by someone with classical dance training, were quite hot. When one of his fans turns stalkerish, Peter refuses to take him seriously. He doesn’t want to be seen as a target, and never sees the bad in people until it is too late. Thank God for Nash!

If you like stories about men who are trying to redefine their roles in life after a major change, if you enjoy reading about tough bouncers and elegant erotic dancers, and if you’re looking for an entertaining read with a touch of tension and a whole lot of hot man-on-man action, the you may like this short story.
