Book Blurb

As the captain of a fishing vessel, Alpha wolf Dominic considers himself married to his work. That’s always been enough for him -- he’s never been interested in a family. Until he meets Sawney.

Though he’s always wanted pups, Omega physician Sawney is committed to his practice and his patients. He’s never made time for a mate. But as he gets older he’s finding it harder to resist the demands of his body. When he meets Dominic, his urges catch fire and breeding with the Alpha is all he can think about.

Dominic proposes they strike a deal. He can give them both what they want, no strings attached. One pup, a good friendship, and all parties satisfied.

Only it’s not quite that easy. Passion and friendship are one thing, but what happens when the “single parents” realize they’re in love?

Book Review

I can't believe I'm already at the third, and most recent installment, of the 'Omega Wolves' series. Although it shouldn't come as a surprise. I do have a tendency to inhale books, even more ones I'm loving, and this series certainly qualifies. I thought it was nice to see the author return to the peninsula and the ocean, the same place Matthias and Bree had gone.

It's a curvy road when two people start down the path of "friends with benefits", or in the case of Dominic and Sawney, friends who are married to their jobs and don't want mates, but are having a pup together. I totally understood the decision. Dominic is gone at sea for months at a time and there's no guarantee he'll always come back. The Bering Sea is a dangerous place, and more than one man has lost his life to it. Sawney is just as married to his medical practice and his patients. He doesn't want a mate taking his time and attention away from that. But he does want a child, it's what his body is designed to do, and Dominic would like to leave a little piece of himself in the world.

I have to admit that these two were insanely sexy and hot. The first time Dominic is back on shore after four and a half months away, all he can think of is getting to Sawney to see if their one night together worked. The relief they both felt at the touch of the other came as a huge surprise. The feelings, however, threw them both for a loop. What do they do now? This wasn't what they thought it would be.

“I’ve thought of you more than I have of medicine these past few months. Did you think of me more than the sea?”
Dominic exhaled long and slow. “Every damn day, Sawney. From dawn till dusk, you were all that was in my head.”

Hands down this was my favorite. So far. That's saying a lot since I've loved each of these stories and the characters. There was just something extra special about Dominic and Sawney, plus I got a wee glimpse of Matthias and Bree that made me happy. All in all, a wonderful story. Now, besides saying thank you to the author, I have just one question. Will there be more?
