When anthropologist Georgia Cortez heads to rural Georgia from New Mexico, she’s on the trail of a juicy old legend. Haley Falls seems like just the place for old-time ghost stories and spooky hauntings, but she’s on the hunt for something far rarer, a survival of an old sect of medieval knights.
Caid and Alton are Haley Fall natives, and they used to be best friends. A falling out years ago ended in them not speaking, even after Alt left town and returned older, if not wiser. They unite when it comes to a nosy scholar like Georgia picking apart their heritage, and putting their whole town in danger. When boys meet girl, though, they decide wooing is far better than scaring the lady off, and they set about distracting Georgia in the best way.
While their three way romance heats up, so does the intrigue in Haley Falls, until the three of them are facing a danger far worse than falling in love with each other.
Intrigue, certifiably old secrets, and super hot lovin'! I had such a ball reading this distinctly enjoyable and thought provoking tale. There is a new woman in the small Georgia town of Haley Falls. She is an anthropologist and enthusiastically on the trail of a centuries old mystery. I never actually lived in such an isolated small community, so I found the increased *buzz* level truly curious and enchanting. Plus, competing rather effectively with the mystery, is a super blazing ménage à trois involving two guys from the town and the anthropologist. I recommend this book, but before you start, pull together your own version of a tall, cool, icy beverage as I think you might need it. Sizzling!
Georgia Cortez is the intrepid anthropologist en route to Haley Falls, Georgia for a multi-week investigation. She is a professor at a university in New Mexico and grew up in a high desert and mountain environment as opposed to the steamy and humid Haley Falls. Along with the fabulous cultural anthropological goodies on her platter, she definitely finds all the male attention stimulating. Luckily, I got to have a front and center seat for the super glorious coupling action. Georgia is deliciously insightful, extremely perceptive, and genuinely open to the sensual advances from two of the local men. Hang on to your seat...the mysteries and the sexual games start to unscramble at a rapid pace. Titillating!
Alton Caballo, Alt, is a curious and interesting guy, apparently a moonshine ridge runner who left Haley Falls for a while, but returned. Not too many folk seem to relocate or even leave Haley Falls, especially if they are a Caballo, a Chevalier, or a Bernard. Georgia has seen several of these names pop up a bunch during her local research. Alt has had the hots for a Caid Chevalier from Haley Falls for quite some time, but never got him to be interested until the desirable outsider, Georgia, came to town. Apparently, Alt is hot to trot just about anytime of the day or night and with almost anybody. Fascinating!
Caid Chevalier has never left Haley Falls. There are all kinds of hints and innuendos about why that seems to be the norm here. Georgia is kind of attracted to Caid as he is to her, especially since he ponders that he has been with every woman available in town, some a few times, and she is a mighty fine specimen. Caid is a really interesting guy, with some very strong convictions, and an equivalently high and active libido as his sort-of-friend Alt. Amazing!
This is adorable, delectable, and very satisfying. The primary trio are certainly an interesting mix and hot as all get out! Enjoy the superheated clinches and the very fine mystery. There are scintillating moments, mystery and danger, and lustful climaxes. Eminently entertaining!
