Book Review

It is remarkable how many of Madame Eve’s 1Night Stands happen because two people want to get “the one who got away” or “the one they cannot forget” out of their system. Of course, Madame knows better, and manages to set them up with each other. Makes me grin, because it seems to work every time… Cowboy Dustin and rich polo player and model Tony are no different, except maybe that they struggle a little more than the “average” 1Night Stand couple – if there even is such a thing.

Dustin is a cowboy, rides in rodeos, and pretends he doesn’t have a lot of money. While he isn’t rich, his success in wining prizes means he is not exactly poor either. It’s his attitude that sets him apart and causes issues with rich-man Tony’s background. Even so, he cannot seem to forget his brief affair with the model, and when Tony turns out to be his 1Night Stand, Dustin decides to get him out of his system once and for all. Yeah, right!

Tony enjoys the finer things in life, but his affair with Dustin has made him think about the things that really count. And, after deciding it isn’t his Ferragamo shoes, he still wants the rough-around-the-edges cowboy. Not on Madame Eve’s watch, though. The one man he is trying to forget is his 1Night Sand, and Tony finds himself wanting more. And longer. How to tell the stubborn cowboy though?

If you like our stories hot and full of passion, if cover-to-cover sex doesn’t deter you from enjoying a story, and if you’re looking for a read with just enough back story to explain why the characters end up in bed together, then you will probably like this short story.
