Rene is trying to escape from the senior vampire holding him prisoner in New Orleans, a city of mystery and beauty. Werewolf Luc thinks he’ll save Rene, but before he can, vampire Henri swoops in and takes Rene away. Can the two of them agree to share, or will Rene just be the spoils of a very New Orleans style war?

Book Review

This story was quite entertaining: you have one young vampire being kept prisoner, a werewolf from the bayou coming into New Orleans and deciding to rescue him, and a senior city vampire determined to keep the young one for himself. Between all the pulling and pushing back and forth they, of course, have time for some serious hanky-panky, and added to the setting of New Orleans, including the language to go with it, this made for a fun short read.

Rene is the new vampire who is in desperate need of rescue. He is curiously naïve and innocent for being a predator, so when Henri comes in and makes sure he is safe, he is more than ready to go with him. Henri I the "senior" guy, and feels all protective about his newest charge. And then werewolf Luc appears, claiming first dibs on Rene, but neither Rene nor Henri are willing to let go of each other. And after a little paranormal tug-of-war they all settle down (who would have thought) to a quiet – no, strike that – utterly hot coexistence.

If you like paranormal stories with mixed species interaction, if vampires falling in love without, of course, saying it out loud are your thing, and if you like hot threesomes, then you will probably like this book.
