Book Blurb

Solomon Lynch figured his decision to help his boss’s son escape from under his dominating thumb would cost him his job. Instead, it nearly costs him his life. He’s jumped and beaten in an alley, but Solomon has no delusions about who sent the men. He only lives because his ropes weren’t tied tight enough, and he manages to escape the cinderblock that was meant to send him swimming with the fishes.

He doesn’t remember much after that, but rousing in an unfamiliar place is a mixed blessing. Doctor Anthony Keller is hawt! Solomon realizes instantly that the doc returns his attraction, but his instincts tell him that Anthony is hiding something. Besides that, how can he drag the handsome man into his screwed-up life, a life that could be cut short any minute by a vindictive rich guy?

Book Review

‘Beneath Aquatica’s Waves’ is a shifter series I have grown very fond of. I love the concept of two brothers, William and Kaiser Roush, opening a marine park where the large majority of employees, including the attractions, are marine shifters, some of whom are “supposedly” long extinct. I’ve had the opportunity to see shifters that are rarely, if ever, written about and that has been such fun for me.

I met Solomon very briefly during Braylon and Tyrone’s story as Solomon was the security guard employed by Braylon’s father but who helped Braylon get free. That act of kindness leaves Solomon fired and then attacked by Mr. Whitney’s goons, tied up, and dropped into the ocean to die. Luckily for Solomon, the goons didn’t do such a great job, and he was able to get out of the ropes, but unfortunately, he is way out in the ocean and Solomon can only hope he’ll be able to swim that far to shore.

Anthony is a hammerhead shark shifter who works a few hours a week in the sunken ship reef tank at Waves of Aquatica but his primary job is as their on-site doctor. He happens to be taking a lovely swim one evening and catches the scent of his mate’s blood in the water. After battling back a few real-life sharks Anthony gets Solomon back to his clinic and once they’ve expressed their desire for one another (verbally, that is), Anthony gets Solomon’s story and calls in the big guns. William and Kaiser thought they were done with Armando Whitney but it would appear the wealthy egomaniac still hasn’t learned his lesson. That’s okay. The brothers have more to show the evil man.

What a wonderful addition to the series! Plus, the author gave me a glimpse into what type of shifter William and Kaiser might be. Ooh, the curiosity is burning through me. I have a feeling I haven’t seen the last of Armando Whitney but I’m darn certain he has met his match in the Roush brothers. Solomon and Anthony were absolutely adorable and I so enjoyed their mating. Can’t wait for the next one!
