The alpha and the vampire enforcer. I'm really going to miss them. Jet and Nico were so improbable, right from the beginning, but watching them make it work has been very rewarding. But Laura has always been good at writing the hard stuff. Pun intended, of course! *grins*

This book was a total page turner as I waded through the deceptions and miscommunications, in order to discover the truth. Will Nico follow his sire's order to kill Jet? Or is this a trap designed to snag Henri and make him pay for what he's done to the vampires and the werewolves in the region? A page turner, I tell you. Oh, and the hot sex scene had nothing to do with my rapt attention. Nope, nothing at all.

Laura, you are the queen tease of these books. What a wonderful and oh so frustrating ending! Argh. *grumpy face*
