Book Review

Sweet, hot, and very cute is a good combination in a story for me. "Demon Love" has got it all, plus a great sense of humor throughout and a nice twist at the end. As for thinking you know what you're in for with a demon? You might be surprised!

Lucas is a student and, like anyone his age, out for some fun. When his best friend Trevor asks him to participate in a ritual to call a demon, he doesn’t quite know what to think, but is pretty sure it is all a hoax and nothing much will happen. Boy, is he wrong. To his shock *(and delight), the ritual works and he now has his very own demon at his beck and call. I loved finding out the "real rules" of heaven and hell with Lucas, and the developing romance between hi and Corson was just too cute.

Corson is an unusual demon. He says so himself, and since he hasn’t been "called" for many centuries, he is quite excited about learning what's been happening on Earth while he's been gone. The slowly dawning realization that Lucas is different from other masters he has served certainly has him interested, and as if that wasn't enough, Lucas's willingness to submit completely, even get excited by some of the kinky ideas Corson suggests, seals the deal for him.

While this story is built on the "basics" of demon lore, the author took some of the assumptions and built on them. Twisted them a little actually, and I really liked the result. It is a much lighter treatment than many demon stories out there have to offer, and I really liked that. If you want to smile, be entertained, and read a story with some fun observations and twists, not to mention some extremely hot action between two hot men, give this one a try.
