The ghost hunters take their apprentice to the hottest club in town—one where hunters and ghosts intermingle. The atmosphere is overwhelming, but more overwhelming are the tensions rising between R.J. and Valentine. And the new girl can’t help, since she’s the reason everything is falling apart...

Book Review

This is the eighth book in the ‘Lesbian Ghost Hunters’ series. The narrator is still the nameless ghost hunter in training. However, she is getting comfortable with a key ghost skill. This story has some really unexpected twists. One member of the trio is going to be on her own by the end of the day. Oh no! One member will seemingly break the rules. Oh boy! And our intrepid narrator gets seduced, befuddled, and torn between the classic rock and a hard place. Time to go partying!

R.J. is truly a conundrum to me. However, she beguiles everyone, outshines most entities in a crowd, and is always ready to party on the town. She knows she is going to be able to find a very special party that is kind of a twenty-four and seven affair. By that I mean, it never ends. The balance of the intrepid trio follow her till their feet hurt, but they do get rewarded by arriving at the bacchanal. Oh my goodness, this party is full of ghosts and live people as supposedly it is neutral ground where all ghost hunter-type activities are left outside. However, I sense there is something amiss here. Oh well. R.J. rocks!

Nameless one has really become attached to Valentine, the other ghost hunter who is a solid member of the trio. The two of them get into some really hot clinches and on occasion create their own twenty-four hour sex orgy. Nameless one feels close to and protective of Valentine, but R.J. still seems to have that indecipherable magic touch that can draw in our narrator with a simple look and her powerfully sexy aura. And yes, she does just that by maneuvering nameless one into the last stall in the bathroom, bypassing a very long line and already occupied by two entities hot and heavily engaged. What is going on? I anticipate something quite startling. This foursome rumbles!

Something happens but sort of doesn't. In the heat of the foursome clinches with partners swapping, R.J. whispers the nameless one's real name. Unfortunately, I wasn't party to the sharing. That qualitative level of discomfort intertwines throughout this story and certainly at the end even while I shared super highs and glorious closeness. I have a feeling that ghost hunters don't live very long because they probably get totally worn out and drained of all life force. However, that is just a theory and frankly I hope it holds no weight or connection to reality. Nevertheless, this was a sizzler!
