Book Review

Shifters in general are fun, catshifters in particular are favorites of mine, and when a guy doesn’t even know he is a shifter until he meets his mates – a story has my full attention. And this one is not just particularly cute, it also has a few surprises and is scorching hot. Two of the guys are already mated and well aware of who and what they are, but with the third one trying to figure out what’s what and how to make sense of the immediate attraction he feels, this ended up being a very fun adventure and one hot romp.

Robin is a city boy, and when he comes to North Carolina with his boss to help design and build some sort of resort in the middle of nowhere, he does not know what to think. His boss is curiously vague about some of the details, the first two men Robin meets are beyond hot and seem interested in him, then his boss goes all protective and tries to chase them off. But Robin is his own man, has never been interested in his boss, and puts his foot down. He has no idea what he is in for, but he is certain that Casey and Travis are worth getting to know.

Casey and Travis have known each other since they were young children, mated when they were older, and did not expect to find a third man on a permanent basis. They know Robin is a shifter, and the fact that he doesn’t seem to have a clue confuses Casey and Travis to no end. This does not deter them from seducing him, and one thing soon leads to another. When the moon comes out, everyone is in for a big surprise, and I loved every second of it.

If you like catshifters with a sense of humor, if hot threesomes are your thing, and if you’re looking for a read that is as entertaining as it is hot, then you will probably like this novella.
