Wow! This is a great story about Cole, a writer with a heart frozen by loneliness and grief, and his editor, Eric, who slowly melts the icy layers with a barrage of friendship, love, and explosive passion.

Cole is a great guy. He has weathered more loneliness and grief than should be allowed, and uses all of it to fuel his writing. He may now be a successful writer, but he is still lonely. His only real friend is also his editor, and Cole is not only convinced Eric is straight, he is also afraid of doing anything to endanger their friendship. He has learned to rely on it too much.

Eric is an amazing man. He knows he loves Cole, but is afraid to scare him away. He has subtly shown his interest by always being there for Cole, but is beginning to recognize that subtle will not get him anywhere. And once he has made a decision, he is as stubborn as Cole about getting his way – possibly even more so.

If you want men who mean a hell of a lot to each other as friends before they become more, if you’re looking for heat and passion, and if a poignant love story strikes your fancy, I am sure you will love this one. I certainly did!
