Book Blurb

Sero just wants a drink, but on Halloween night at Kinky Kritters, a drink isn’t the only thing waiting for him. As a bat he’s a rarity, as someone with a high pain tolerance he’s every man with a whip’s wet dream.

Trevor is just such a man, and he’s more than interested in Sero. Being turned down by the bat is a mild setback for him, but Trevor is persistent and he wants Sero for himself.

Book Review

I have had so much fun with the 'Kinky Kritters' series so I was delighted to realize the authors were going to do a holiday spinoff. Since the theme of 'Branding the Bat' is Halloween it made perfect sense to me that a bat shifter be involved. Believe me when I say that Sero won my heart and Trevor's too.

Sero is adorable and as a bat he's kind of rare. Trevor is a black cat, a housecat, but he's far from harmless. When Trevor propositions Sero on Halloween at the Kinky Kritters costume party, Sero is tempted; but he can smell two distinct other men on Trevor, and Sero isn't about to be just a notch on a belt. Trevor isn't used to being rejected so easily and he definitely has a bit of a childish pout when he stomps off just making Sero laugh.

Of course, it doesn't take long for Sero to consent to a session at KK with Trevor. Unfortunately, Trevor has more than one reason for getting as many orgasms out of shifters as he can, and his reasons aren't exactly pure, but his interest in Sero goes beyond what he expected. Sero isn't about to have his heart broken by a man he views as a player so these two are in a tough spot unless they come clean. Or, the sharks get a hold of Trevor and bring Sero along for some torture.

I definitely didn't anticipate the ending which always makes a book more fun. I really liked Sero but I was a little ho-hum about Trevor. However, all in all, this was a super cute, slightly kinky, story that I enjoyed.
