Not so soon after breaking up with Mike, the man who Bradley had thought would be the 'one'. Only to find out that Mike was a jerk.

When ex-PJ, Mike finds out that his ex is planning to ride out the upcoming hurricane, he doesn't know whether to strangle the man or to go help him. In the end, love prevails and Mike rushes to Bradley's side.

Book Review

'Bradley & Mike' is book two in the 'Storming Love: One Storm, Twelve Men' series, and each installment is written by a different author. I was curious about this book, partly because I've only read this author’s paranormal books, and I was interested to see how different her contemporary might be.

Bradley and Mike have been broken up for a year. Mike broke up with Bradley via text. Nice, huh? He had his reasons, which, of course, he hadn't shared with Bradley. Well, now Mike and Bradley are hunkered down at Bradley's house to wait out the hurricane while caring for his grandpa, and his dog. Grandpa is dying, and on pain management drugs, he's got the beginnings of Alzheimer's. The dog, Snoopy, is just fat.

Mike was a Pararescuer for the Air Force, and before his last deployment, he had a bad feeling something was going to happen. He didn't want to leave Bradley alone, or force him to care for an invalid, so, in all his infinite male wisdom, he broke up with him. Via text message. Seriously? They'd been together for five years. *rolling eyes* As you can imagine, Bradley isn't too taken with that explanation, nor is he in any kind of mood to let Mike back into his heart, and his life. Who knows if this storm will change his mind?

If you enjoy stories that involve a lot of sarcasm (Grandpa), begging for forgiveness (Mike), and a scary storm, then this might be the book for you.
