Book Blurb

Bear shifter Seamus has a thing for his boss at the Blue Moon bar. Hugh doesn't seem to notice him except to chew his ass about his bar tending skills. Hugh is a wolf shifter who thinks Seamus is the hottest thing he's ever seen, but running the bar leaves him little time for a personal life.

When danger threatens the Blue Moon bar, though, Seamus and Hugh band together, and finally get what they both want. Can it last or will outside forces tear them apart?

Book Review

What a fun story! Shifters galore, hot bar fights, a mysteriously vanished lover, and some very hot shifter-on-shifter action. The Blue Moon Bar is a great place for anyone, as long as they turn fuzzy at some point each month, and I’d love to see more stories set there. The growly wolf shifter boss and his equally growly bear shifter bartender are wonderful characters, and some of their animal characteristics remain even in their human forms.

Seamus hates being pushed around by his boss. He is also kind of attracted to the growly wolf, which is just weird since he is a bear. And the more these two yell and growl at each other, the clearer it becomes there is much more to their relationship than the professional. If only they could admit it and move forward.

Hugh is an exception among wolves, and nobody in his pack likes the fact he is gay. Hugh doesn’t care though, and he is strong enough not to be bullied into mating to produce pups. There is only one partner he is interested in, and he isn’t even a wolf! And just when they finally sort of admit to each other that maybe yelling at each other isn’t all they want to do, a lion shifter enters the bar and claims Hugh stole his lover. Mayhem follows and Hugh ends up fighting for Seamus’s life.

If you like hot shifters who know what they want, if a bar sounds like a good setting for a few fights and a mini-mystery, and if you’re looking for a read that is as funny as it is hot, then you will probably like this short story.
