Book Blurb

When candy maker Syllabub runs away from the North Pole, Claus sends his best enforcer after the wayward elf.

Power is good at his job, but when he finds Syllabub in the sweltering heat of Ottawa in July, the last thing he wants to do is return to the North Pole.

Is there something between them? Or has the heat gone to Power's head? Only time will tell.

Book Review

There are a few stories about naughty Christmas elves out there, but “Bad Elf, No Candy Cane” is a particularly cute one. Beginning with the idea that Santa is a slave driver, making use of a non-unionized workforce and exploiting the poor elves, all the way through to having enforcers in charge of catching runaway elves, the world created here made me laugh. It’s refreshingly different from the sugar-sweet version we are taught about as kids, and it has such a hot, definitely kinky edge, I just wanted to find out more.

Syllabub, or Syl as he refers to himself, and Bub as he is called by the enforcer come to drag him back to candy hell, has had enough. He does not want to see any more candy. He doesn’t want to follow orders. And he wants to try new things where the entire North Pole is drowning in tradition. So he runs away, to Ottawa, Canada of all places. Not exactly the warmest place on Earth in summer (well, not compared to Arizona or Africa), but it is plenty hot enough for him. And when he is tracked down and “captured”, it only gets hotter!

Power is one of the best enforcers Santa has at his disposal. Says a lot that, in this world, Santa even needs them. I mean, elves wanting to run away from giving children all over the world a great Christmas? That can’t be good. And while Power s good at his job, once he catches Bub and they get going, he has no particular urge to return where they came from. He does, however, enjoy the chase…

If you like humorous Christmas stories, if a kinky elf and his equally kinky pursuer sound like a fun pairing, and if you’re looking for an entertaining, fun, and very hot Christmas read, then you will probably like this short story.
