Book Review

This is one of those stories it’s very hard to write a review for. At the heart of it is a big surprise, so I am going to try to ‘write around it’, so as not to spoil anyone’s enjoyment. All I can say is that if you like power play - as in the boss telling an employee what to do, never mind the consequences - this is a story for you.

Caleb is one of the guys working for an unconventional ad agency. They are clearly still in the startup phase, and when his boss demands he get a new client ‘no matter what’, he sees no way out. Never mind that he is married, never mind that he knows going in that Mr. Ito is likely to want sexual favors. All the boss wants is that contract.

Mr. Ito is demanding, in charge, and doesn’t take long to get to the point. He confirms Caleb’s worst fear and then – but that's where the twist starts, and I cannot talk about that. You’ll have to go and check it out for yourself.

If you like stories with a twist, if you enjoy well-written sexual tension and some emotional fireworks, and if you want a story that takes you by surprise, you will probably like this one.
